It's high time to start "journaling" again. . .

Wow! Nearly a year has rolled around and it's time for the Table Rock Art Guild Student Art Show again. We matted all the amazing art and hung it in the Gallery yesterday, went back and tweaked things a bit this morning, and it opens for viewing tomorrow! Saturday will be the really fun time when I get to try my hand and face painting again, and there will be bubbles and cookies, and admiring parents and grandparents and siblings! I was going to insert a copy of the flyer for the show here BUT discovered that pdf files are not supported. Oh well, I'll add photos from the show later. After the children's art comes down on Sunday evening, it will be time to replace the art on our panels for the April-June quarter. I'm sad to admit that I only have two new pieces to hang -- well three if I include my sad cows -- guess I'd better get busy.

In the meantime, you might be interested to see candid shots from the "Creating a Handmade Art Journal" mini-workshop I led last month. We had a great time sharing our creativity (and eating sloppy joes and salad, too). Don came for the lunch, not the art.
